Midpoint Chapel has a rather short history since we are a relatively young church. The first service was held November 15, 1998 in a three room house on Davenport Street in the town of Milsap. Bro. Bill Hudson began this work for the Lord and is privileged to pastor this growing church family.
Our first anniversary was held in the Milsap Community Center, with construction beginning on the first wing of the church building in May of 2000. There was plenty of room to build and expand on two donated acres of land located two miles north of Milsap, at 2312 South Farm Market 113. Although not finished on the inside, the children's Christmas program was held in the building in December, with the church family moving into it in February.
The first wing became classrooms and a children's church area, as another wing was added on in latter 2003. This area is now being used as a combination sanctuary and fellowship hall. Presently, work is being done in order to complete the building. This final addition will be the sanctuary.
The Lord has greatly blessed this church family in a multitude of ways, not the least of which that no indebtedness was ever incurred to construct the building, and, as we believe in cheerful giving, no yoke was placed on anyone to make this possible. We had hundreds of helping hearts and hands that the Lord worked through to make the existence of Midpoint Chapel possible, but most of all TO GOD BE THE GLORY for it all!
